Refund & Exchange
1. General Overview
At Forsah for Business & Investment, we maintain the highest quality standards for all Omani exports and trade services.
This policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and exchanges in accordance with the Oman Consumer Protection Law (Royal Decree 66/2014) and international trade regulations.
Our primary goal is to ensure that all business-to-business (B2B) transactions are executed with transparency and mutual satisfaction.
2. Conditions for Return or Exchange
Requests for returns or exchanges are accepted if the received products are damaged, defective, or do not match the agreed-upon specifications in the purchase order.
Items must be kept in their original packaging, including all labels, documentation, and protective seals.
Any products that have been used, altered, or damaged by the buyer after delivery are not eligible for return or exchange.
A valid proof of purchase (Invoice or Receipt) must be presented with every request.
3. Special Provisions for Perishable Goods
Due to the sensitive nature of products like Fresh Seafood, Agricultural Goods, and Dates, specific inspection rules apply.
Complaints regarding the quality of perishable items must be reported immediately (within 24-48 hours) upon arrival at the destination port or facility.
We recommend conducting a joint inspection with the logistics provider at the time of delivery to document any issues.
4. Timeframe for Requests
For non-perishable commercial goods, customers have a period of 7 to 14 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange request.
After this period, all sales are considered final and accepted by the buyer.
5. Refund Process
Once the returned items are received and inspected by our quality control team, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved refunds will be processed via the original method of payment or through a direct bank transfer to the company’s account.
Please note that bank processing times may vary and are beyond the direct control of Forsah.
Shipping costs, customs duties, and insurance fees incurred during the initial delivery are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
6. Exchange Process
If an exchange is approved, we will ship the replacement products as soon as they are available in our inventory.
If the specific product is out of stock, we may offer an alternative of equal value or issue a credit note for future transactions.
7. Non-Returnable Items
Custom-made products or orders produced specifically according to the buyer’s unique branding and packaging requirements cannot be returned.
Products purchased during clearance sales or under specific “non-refundable” contract terms are exempt from this policy.
8. Governing Law and Disputes
This policy is governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.
Any disputes regarding refunds or exchanges that cannot be resolved amicably shall be referred to the competent courts in Muscat.
